Website for Christ Fellowship

Christ Fellowship (CF) is a non-denominational church in Kingsport, TN with a vision to equip individuals to be all God designed them to be. Intellithought’s working relationship with Christ Fellowship began in 2015 consistently providing custom development and IT services.

In 2024, Christ Fellowship approached Intellithought requesting a new website that would boast WordPress multi-site functionality and an improved mobile-first interface. The CF team wanted to keep the same capabilities for adding sermon videos, managing forms, and creating events as their previous site. Intellithought also assisted with importing all existing site content and form submissions from the previous website to the new website.

Mobile-First, Modern Design

It had been 9 years since the last CF site was developed so there was a need for a more mobile-first layout that utilized better page builders that the CF staff could take advantage of. A new WordPress site was developed with modern development standards resulting in a better mobile experience and overall layout.

WordPress Multi-Site Capability

While discussing new site needs with the CF team, it was discovered that some of their events needed individual micro-sites with separate unique branding. As a result, Intellithought installed and configured multi-site functionality on their new WordPress site and implemented a way to quickly spin up new sites based on duplicating one of their existing sites.

Each multi-site has its own logo, site icon (favicon), menu structure, forms, and color scheme but shares the same hosting, theme, page builder, and plugins. This keeps updates consistent and manageable with branded content being better organized.
